Final Pieces

I could call this a review or connecting the dots of my jewellery to the Vetkat exhibition. Well this month I had to do a green theme piece of jewellery but I did the Vetkat instead. With this Vetkat exhibition I focused on the images, or his drawings. I was taken in by how explicit I thought some of them where. In order to avoid any discomfort, I focused on the flowers on the paintings or drawings. We got these drawing from the deportment in Black and white and the one thing that I kept asking myself was, (Were they in colour?)
I never really pushed to found out more because I had come up with a solution to my problems. Recreate the flowers and add my own colour to them. I quit enjoyed this exercise because I didn't over stress about the end product, I just started soldering jumpings together, what really mattered in these pieces of jewellery, was the end product to be colourful.

Vetkat invite

This is the vetkats invitation and I think it looks awesome, I like the way that the jewellery blends in with the background as if to be part of the wall paintings.

Brace

I haven't worked out how the catch is meant to be but I'll make a plan, any suggestions?

Wall paper

I would love this as a wall paper

Flower power

I'm very pleased with the way these turned out. I love the colours and the shape.

Flowers

Well I made these flowers from jumprings, there is alot of space between the jumprings so that I can bead around them. Just to add a bit of colour, make them more like flowers and so that they fit in with the type of jewellery that I make.

Fatkat

Almost the whole jewellery department has to take part in the Fatkat exhibition, I think that this exhibition is a way of fund raising for this family. So we all have to make a piece of jewellery that will be part of the exhibition. These are the drawings that I'm thinking of using in order to design a piece of jewellery.
