Amy C. Clarke
I found Amy in a book called 500 Beaded Objects, I like going back to this book to see how crazy people are about beading. This picture is (10.2 x 14 cm) and yes its all beaded "I thought about the hope inspired by the light of a single candle in darkness, and how I make a wish everytime I blow out a candle."

Evolution

Suzanne Golden is also one of the artist that I found in the book, 500 Beaded Objects. I was luck enough for her to reply and allow me to use some of her work for my blog or my research.
She has done alot of beaded braclets, using many different colours abd pattens but the ones that grabbed my attention were the evolution braclets. These braclets are beaded in black and white bead using the peyote stitch.
Although most of my work is in bright colours the contrast of the bead allows the eye to create its own feel.

Pencil beaded objects

It is hard to get a response from jewellers of artists out there but fortunately for me, I found someone who was and is willing to help and answer a few questions for me. I found Jennifer work in a book called 500 Beaded Object. I love the colours she uses and the type of beads.
Her work bought up alot of questions, but the question that I want to answer or find out more about is, "WHAT ARE BEADS?" does anybody know?

500 Beaded objects

I have been reading a book of contempuary bead work or objects. I found alot of beautiful and colourful beaded objects but what got my attention the most was their headings or the name of the artist's pieces. I never thought that the name or the story behind some of the pieces would count or play such a big roll. There were some artist's work that i loved and I have looked them up and asked if i can use some of their work for my research. As i was reading or going through this book,i realised that my understanding to some of the objects was very different to what the artist was saying and alot of questions came up, questions like, What is a bead? When is it right to use plastic and glass beads together?
