Big bead

This is what I'm working on, my big bead. A lot of planning and and counting of the beads is involved and I didn't think that it would take me this long. I'm not focusing on the colours at the moment because I haven't figured everything out yet.

Epoxy test piece

I haven't given up on these shapes that I made, I keep want to do something different with (add colour). You wouldn't tell from these pictures but the beads are set in Epoxy, didn't think they would come out so nicely.

Set up

I guess I stressed for nothing, this is my display for today. It really helped having other peoples input on our layout. I think we are so used to seeing our jewellery that we loose interest or we don't really know when and where to focus. This is not my final display, there is still room for improvement and I will work on it.

KZNAS

I can truly say that I've come to the end of the road. I don't have anymore strength to do anything. I have pushed myself to the limit,I'm totally burned out. This layout or set up is for the NSA gallery and I've played around with some ideas, I like the Zulu mat and white paper but I'm afraid that it might clash with everybody elses. I think I have to wait and see. I need my rest or break now !

Test pieces

Before the tech closed I made a lot of these wire shapes or frames and It was said that they are too thin or there was just something that's missing about them. I didn't want to re-melt them or just leave them as is so I tried joining them together with beads. I'm happy with the fact that the idea came to life but not so sure about the white string though. The clear string keeps breaking my needles and beads, I dont know weather I should change the string or the needles.

Three D sun

All of these test pieces are done due to the discussion that we had with Marlene. Using opaque colours and beading something that's not flat.

Rainbow bead

I've finished beading this bead and I think it looks away better then the silver one.
